A grabber cone (or flexible channelizer cone) is a durable, high-visibility traffic control device widely used in road construction and work zones.
It consists of a tall, flexible fluorescent orange polyethylene stem with a reinforced “grabber” handle at the top and a heavy rubber base (30 lbs.) that slides over the stem for stability. These cones are primarily used for traffic control, creating lane closures, tapers or barriers around construction zones. Their design allows for quick deployment and retrieval – workers can often place or remove them from a moving vehicle – making them ideal for short-term setups where speed and reduced crew exposure to traffic are priorities.
Grabber cones are stackable for easy storage, transport as well as resistant to wind and vehicle impacts and equipped with reflective sheeting for nighttime visibility.
